IB Biology, Chemistry, Physics and ESS · internal assessment · for teachers

A second marker (or first ) for your IA sample.

  • It marks the report blind, before it sees your marks.
  • It shows where the two of you differ, criterion by criterion. Within a mark on each is the normal spread between two careful markers.
  • It writes the criterion comments for your sample.
  • It annotates the script where the evidence is, so a moderator sees what you saw.
  • Your marks stay yours. It is a check, like a colleague second-marking a script, not an answer to copy.

5 credits a script, at $1 a credit or less in packs · your marks and the IA as a PDF · five to ten minutes

It is on the server now

Your check is running on our server, not in this tab. You can close the tab, or the laptop: the result is saved to your account, under Your checks on this page, on any device.

Or stay and watch it work through the steps, with a round of Ribosome Run while you wait.

PrivacyOnly the text and page images are sent to be marked, with the name taken out. Anthropic does not train on them.

The PDF never leaves your computer as a file. Its text, and images of the pages with tables and figures, go to Anthropic’s Claude to be marked, with the name you gave taken out; Anthropic does not train on them. This site keeps your email, the marks and the cost. The finished comments are saved to your account for 90 days, so you can close the tab and come back to them, then deleted. To check a source, the second marker may open up to three of the web links in the report’s references; only the address is requested, and nothing of the report goes to that site. The annotated script is built in your browser. While a check runs, this browser (not this site) keeps the PDF and what was sent, so a refresh cannot lose the check; that copy is replaced by your next check and deleted after 24 hours. Your school decides whether sharing coursework this way fits its own policy.
