Six lists that turn the syllabus into something you can work through and audit: the graphs to sketch, the processes and how they connect, the cells and molecules you are expected to name, and every linking question. Graphs to sketch.

Sketch each one from memory: label both axes with units, draw the shape, then say in one sentence why it has that shape. Tick it when you can do it cold.

Biological processes.

35 items · 6 HL only

Key processes from the IB Biology syllabus. Use them for flashcards, quick quizzes, diagrams or concept maps: define each one, explain it, and link it to a real example or a past-paper question. The more ways you use a word, the better you remember it.

Connected processes.

24 items · 2 HL only

The syllabus wants joined-up understanding: how one process leads to, influences or depends on another. For each chain, explain every link, how the first step causes or controls the next. Then try a concept map or flowchart joining several chains across themes.

Named cells and structures.

30 items · 3 HL only

For each one: where it is found, what it does, and one feature of its structure that suits it to that job.

Biological molecules.

For each one: sketch or describe its structure, say what it is made of, and name one place it is used and what it does there.

Linking questions.

Every linking question from the IB Biology syllabus. Pick one and answer it with examples from at least two themes: that is exactly what the extended-response questions reward.
