Bradford Biology is a personal teaching site run by Adam Bradford ("Mr Bradford"). This page explains what the site does and does not collect, and what will change as new features launch. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What the site collects today
Right now the site is static. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and has no sign-up forms. Browsing these pages does not create a record of you.
The only way the site asks for your details is the email address in the footer. If you write to me, I keep that email so I can reply. I do not add you to any list and I do not pass it on.
Embedded third parties
Some pages embed content from other services, and those services apply their own privacy policies:
- Videos page: YouTube players are embedded from youtube.com. YouTube may set cookies and collect viewing data once a player loads.
- Apps page: the study apps (Cramly, Splycr, and others) are embedded from their own sites and are governed by their own policies.
If you would rather not share data with those services, open them in a separate tab only when you choose to.
Coming soon: newsletter
A newsletter is planned. When it launches, signing up will mean giving an email address, used only to send the newsletter. It will never be sold or shared, and every issue will carry a one-click unsubscribe.
Coming soon: the forum
The teachers' forum is planned. When it opens, taking part will mean creating an account with a name and email address. Posts you make will be visible to other forum members. You will be able to delete your account and your posts. This page will be updated with the specifics before the forum goes live.
Your choices
You can browse the whole site without giving any personal information. If you have written to me, asked to join the newsletter, or created a forum account, you can ask me to show you what I hold or to delete it.
Changes
When the newsletter or forum launches, or anything else here changes, this page is updated and the date at the top changes with it.
