The whole course as maps. Students fill them in.
Sixteen revision maps, one for each theme at each level of organisation. Every subtopic is a sheet with its name in the middle and a task on each branch: a diagram to label, a paragraph with gaps, a table to complete, steps to put in order. Fill one in on screen and check it, or print it on A4, Letter or A3 with an answer key.
Sixteen maps
Each theme at each level of organisation, as the guide sets the course out. A1 is ready; the rest are being written.Three ways to use one
On screen
Type into the blanks and press Check my answers: spelling slips, plurals and British or American spellings are let through. The answers stay in this browser, so a map can be finished over a few sittings. Word bank lists each sheet's answers for a first go.
On paper
Each subtopic prints on one landscape page, scaled to fit A4, Letter or A3, in colour or photocopied in black and white. Print a set with the word bank showing for a scaffolded version, and the key for marking in pairs.
SL or HL
Higher level boxes have a dashed border and an HL badge. Set the level to SL and they drop off the sheet, so a standard level class gets a map with nothing on it they have not been taught.
